Scotland Arrest
I strictly have no comments about the recent arrest in Scotland of Ezzdeen A.K. Al Khalede.
There is an ongoing investigation and all information available to the public will be provided by the Scottish Police.
I therefore urge the press to refrain from looking me up each time there is something new in the case of the Stockholm bombings.
Taimour Abdulwahab's Burial
After 65 long days, we have finally been able to bury Taimour in a Muslim graveyard. It was a very sad day for us but also a day of great relief to be able to, at last, perform the Muslim burial (Janaazah) with all its rituals.Taimour was a Muslim and was thus buried like one.
Those present at the burial were, amongst others, his loved ones. And we were pleasantly surprised that many people who had never met Taimour attended the Janaazah to show their sadness and to pray for him.
He is alone responsible for his actions. May Allah (God Almighty) forgive his sins and have mercy on his soul. Ameen.
Nevertheless, he will remain a loved husband, father, son and brother and he will be greatly missed.
Taimour was also a proud Iraqi and he loved his country of origin and the country of his forefathers: Iraq. To deny his origins or religion due to opposing Taimour's actions is not the solution to the problem.
Likewise, feeling ashamed of being an Iraqi or a Muslim is not either the solution. There is nothing wrong about being an Iraqi and there is absolutely nothing wrong about being a Muslim.
Last but not least, we urge people and the press to kindly respect our privacy and to let us mourn Taimour in peace.
Taimour Abdulwahabs Begravning
Efter 65 långa dagar, har vi äntligen fått begrava Taimour i en Muslimsk begravningsplats. Det var en mycket sorlig dag för oss men det var också en stor lättnad att äntligen begrava honom enligt Muslimsk tradition.Taimour var en Muslim och fick därför begravas som en.
Många nära och kära var närvarande på begravningen och vi blev överaskade att många människor som hade aldrig träffat Taimour kom för att visa sin sorg och för att be för honom.
Han är ensam ansvarig för sina handlingar. Må Allah (Gud Allmäktige) förlåta honom.
Men han förblir en älskad make, far, son och bror och kommer att bli mycket saknad.
Taimour var också en stolt Irakier och älskade sitt land och sina förfäders land: Irak. Att förneka hans ursprung eller religion för att man är emot Taimours handlingar är ingen lösning till problemet.
Dessutom, att skämmas för att vara Irakier eller Muslim är inte heller en lösning. Det är inget fel på att vara Irakier och absolut inget fel på att vara Muslim.
Sist men inte minst, ber vi pressen och folk att vara snälla och respektera vår
avskildhet och låta oss få sörja Taimour i lugn och ro.
